Jerilyn Wiseman

Jerilyn Wiseman is originally from Kuna, Idaho. She began playing fiddle at the young age of 6 years old. Her love of the fiddle developed in to her later becoming a competitive fiddle player. Her dedication to perfecting the fiddle and vocals has been a major contribution to the sound of Breaking Eight.

Her talents just don't stop at being a fantastic fiddle player. Jerilyn also was a competitive rodeo athlete. She began rodeo after she and her family moved to Baker, Montana. Later, she attended Dickinson State University in Dickinson, North Dakota, where she competed in team roping, breakaway roping, and barrel racing. 

​

Music has always held a special place in Jerilyn's heart. Her voice tells true country stories that only a true cowgirl can tell.

Jerilyn's intricate fiddle playing abilities was largely influenced by her love of American fiddler's Jimmy Mattingly and John McEuen. 

​

Other musical influences of Jerilyn include Garth Brooks, Chris LeDoux, the Randy Rogers Band, and The Judds.
