3 years, 50 tons of hay, 16 tons of grain, 822 cuss words, 345 words of encouragement and love. One heck of a set of 3 year old bulls we have here. All home raised except for 2 from Nathan Hofer. 1 big beautiful paint is not included in the video but he is also a good spinner. Only one bull out of this crop got culled due to lack of heart and ability, I dare say almost all of the rest of them will be great hauling bulls by this fall. Some stand like a rock, some are waspy in the chute still, some are just now figuring it out. I’m proud of these guys. Keep an eye out for these bulls and check out the song Kick Out the Lights by Breaking Eight. #breakingeight #rodeorock #buckingbulls #rodeo

Play music for my buddy Kelly Armstrong’s governor inaugural ball. ✅ Perform our song Little Yellow Jacket in almost exactly the same spot the bull bucked me off in the Bismarck Civic Center PBR. ✅ Assemble maybe the best team of instructors for a bull riding school ever. ✅ not all instructors pictured here. More to come.

First show of the year and it will be a good one. Very honored that we were asked to play for the North Dakota Governors inaugural ball, January 18 Bismarck Civic Center. In honor of the new single by Breaking Eight called “Little Yellow Jacket” I thought I would share another reason why I’m so excited about this song.
Meet Bruise Lee and Coldplay. These two babies don’t look like much right now, but they are special and in a couple years they’ll be monsters. They’re daddy is a bull named War Room of Nathan Hoffer/H&H, Bucking Bulls, who is a son of the great bull Bruiser. You may not know that world champion Bruiser is a grandson of Little Yellow Jacket, and many of the great bulls that you see on TV these days are in fact descendants a little yellow jacket. even on this little ranch a lot of our genetics go back to Little Yellow Jacket. The legacy is vast and it’s so cool to see his name living on every day as I’m out here working in this beautiful place, even though these mamas are complete psychos.
